Art to Remember Deadline Oct 30

Good morning PTA members. Just a quick reminder that Art to Remember orders are due this Friday, October 30! You won't want to miss out on this opportunity to capture your child's artwork. I personally love the dated Christmas ornament that I get every year to mark my child's artistic development. Our family displays these ornaments now and I will pass them down to my child to use on his Christmas tree when he's grown. What's your favorite product from the line?

Thanks again for your continued support of PTA. These wonderful fundraisers help us to offer great opportunities to the school including our large grant for helping fund Instructional Resource Teachers, assistance in funding school programs such as the upcoming drama production, support for our teachers including individual grants and appreciation week, social events such as movie night and spring carnival, and so much more. Thank you for your support!

Reflections

Each year, the PTA Reflections Program challenges students to create art inspired by a specific theme, and students submit entries to a local PTA or PTSA. Nationally, the program has six arts areas—dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts—and four grade divisions—primary, intermediate, middle/junior, and senior.

Important Dates
Entries are due TUESDAY, November 10 and can be dropped off in the Big Ben Main Lobby at 9:00AM or 3:30PM.

Entries will be showcased at Curriculum Night on Wednesday, November 18 in the Big Ben Media Center. All entries will be displayed and every artist will be recognized!

Budget Passed

Approve the Budget!

Please join us Wednesday, September 16 at 5:30PM in the media center. At this short, but very important meeting, we will review and approve this year's operating budget. For your convenience we have scheduled the meeting just before Back to School Night begins. Please make a point to attend and help shape the direction of this year's PTA offerings. If you are not already a member of PTA, membership forms will be available at the meeting and throughout the evening. Thank you!
